"Mommy gave me something new to try and I don't want to keel over or explode or something."

"You might be wondering what I'm eating while we wait out the storm."

"Just a lemon."

Leaving on a Jet Plane

"Can you tell where I am?"

"If you guessed a plane, you're right!"

"This is how I spent a lot of the flight home.  

This is not how I spent the flight out."

"Oh, I guess I never mentioned where we went. I'll give you 3 hints."

"Hint #1.  Do you see me with Daddy?"

"Hint #2. Fro-yo!"

"Hint #3. Hi Robot!"

"Figure it out yet? I'm at Google!"

(We actually went to San Francisco for a wedding.)

"Look at all this stuff! It's all so...BIG! And delicious looking!"

"I tried to take home a souvenir, but I didn't want to get Matt in trouble."

"Oh hey there's Matt! I let him hold a lot of my toys 

while we visited with him and Julie. 

And when I say 'a lot,' I mean ALL of my toys."

"It seemed to keep him happy."

"And then it was back on the plane. I'm not going to lie - "

"One of the best naps ever."

"Hi! We're at Clearview Farms! Allow me to be your tour guide."

"You can call me Batman."

"So here are the apple trees. They have apples on them."

"See?"

"You take the apples off the tree like this."

"Then you put the apples in the bag."

"Then you pick more apples and put those in the bag too."

"Like..."

"...so."

"Now follow me. There's more to pick than just apples here."

"Check out the raspberries in my bucket and this pumpkin!"

"I think these pumpkins need someone to sit on them."

"Just kidding! Batman doesn't sit on pumpkins."

"But Batman will try to sit on apples."

"But since it's already squashed, can I sit on it?"

Pretzels

"Can you see what we made? From scratch and everything. But I don't recall being itchy."

Diego decided he should have all the spoons for stirring. We're working on sharing.

It's going about as well as can be expected. (As in not really at all.)

"Peek-a-boo!"

Diego's technique for kneading dough involves a lot of poking.

And patting.

A rare 3-hour nap and wardrobe change later, time to clean off the counter for rolling out the dough.

 Now time to make dough snakes.

The little dough fiend kept stealing bites...

...so it was time for lunch instead while I finished rolling and twisting the dough.

And 15 minutes later, he was ready to claim the pretzels for himself.

But not ready to accept a clean shirt.
